A community ukulele group that welcomes new members. Come and play in a relaxed environment and enhance your ukulele skills. The group is only for adults, with an aim to have fun and improve our ukulele playing at the same time. It is an advantage if you can sing but not a requirement.

Beginners with a basic knowledge of chords are welcome, as are those with more advanced playing skills. Absolute beginners are advised to have some lessons or practice with books for beginners, such as those by Mike Jackson, before joining the group. We usually start with the easier songs for beginners and progress to the more difficult songs during the second half of the meeting. We play a variety of styles of music and use The Ukulele Club Songbook, Sasha Music Publishing 2012 (250+ songs) as our songbook. We invite interested ukulele players to come along and see what we do at a session. www.baysideukes.com
